Corporal Punishment in Family

Nowadays, we often see the media, such as news and articles, published how corporal punishment gives a negative effect on the children. We saw the photo of red scars on the children back or the bruise on their body from being punished by their parents.

Many people viewed it as child abuse and that leads to the involving of the organizations who came out to voice for children’s right. But before we determine what is right and what is wrong, we have to listen to both sides; both parents and children.

Children and parents have a different perspective and thought about this practice. One is disagreeing and another is agreeing. Both of them aren’t wrong and they have the right to give opinions and reasons because there are different ways to educate discipline in each generation.

But we all know that nobody wants to feel the pain and that nobody wants to use corporal punishment on others.

What if we have different ways to punishment with no pain and can discipline the children, what can it be?
